Gabe Givan is an outdoor living specialist that has been with Sonoma Backyard since 2007. Gabe started in the hot tub service department and grew into sales and management. He enjoys helping his clients put together their backyard project and is always willing to go above and beyond to insure customer satisfaction. His customers also appreciate his product knowledge and attention to detail. Gabe currently lives in Santa Rosa where he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Inground Pool Design and Construction Manager
Stephen grew up in Sonoma County working in the Family Pool and Spa Business. His passion has always been in designing and building high quality Swimming Pools. Stephens favorite part of the business is getting to know the wants and desires of each of his clients and using that knowledge to design the backyard environment of their dreams.

Kyle Stewart
Sales
Kyle has been working at Sonoma Backyard since January 2014. He has over 15 years of experience in sales and retail. A resident of Santa Rosa for 20 years, he loves living in Sonoma County. Kyle has a keen eye for helping design beautiful backyards with furniture, hot tubs, and outdoor kitchens. His patience and customer service are incredible. He is also a huge bay area sports fan and has a great sense of humor.

Growing up in the business, Thomas Tavenner saw how much joy the backyard transformations his parents did brought to members of the community, and knew he wanted to do the same. Branching into hot tubs and opening up a new location, Thomas finally had enough room to create a complete backyard store—he’s spent over 40 years designing and building stunning backyards throughout Northern California, becoming a premier retailer of pool and spas in Cotati, CA, and surrounding areas.
